For some time, Dalhousie faculty, students and staff have been able to download the full-text of all post-1996 Dalhousie (including DalTech) dissertations and many theses from ProQuest Dissertations and Theses database. Now, thanks to the Dalhousie Libraries, they can download the full text of ALL post-1996 theses and dissertations available from this source.
With more than 2.4 million entries, ProQuest Dissertations & Theses is the most comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses in the world. UMI offers over 2 million titles for purchase in microfilm or paper formats. More than 930,000 are available in PDF format for immediate free download, and an average of 2,000 new PDFs are added to the database each week. The Dalhousie Libraries subscribe to ProQuest Dissertations and Theses which is available via Novanet or the Databases search on our website.
