Cambridge Histories Online (login required, see below) is a unique online historical reference compendium. The Cambridge Histories, long established in the collections of academic research libraries around the world, are now available online for the first time. This diverse, up to date and authoritative collection brings the texts to life and offers improved access to the content of the print editions, which have been published since the 1960s. CHO contains over 250 volumes, equal to approximately 196,000 pages of text, and covers more than 15 different academic subjects.
